FAQ

Ireland does not have an embassy in Tanzania. Apply through the Irish Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya, or online through the AVATS (Irish visa online application system). Biometrics may need to be collected in Nairobi.

Ireland is in the EU (UK is not), uses the Euro, has a different immigration system, and Irish citizenship grants EU-wide working rights. Ireland also has lower cost of living outside Dublin compared to London. Healthcare workers find Ireland attractive due to HSE active recruitment.
