If you hold a UK Biometric Residence Permit (BRP), your visa-free travel options depend on your passport nationality, not the BRP itself. This guide covers which countries BRP holders can visit without a visa, with specific guidance for Tanzanian passport holders.

BRP to eVisa Transition
The UK Home Office is transitioning from physical BRP cards to eVisas. Key dates:
- Physical BRP cards expired on 31 December 2024 for many holders
- Your immigration status remains valid even if the physical card has expired
- You can prove your status using the View and Prove service
- Airlines and border agents should accept eVisa proof, but carry any physical documents as backup
