Tanzania is home to the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa. Here is everything you need to know about visa and entry requirements for a safari trip.
Visa Requirements for Safari
- e-Visa: Apply at visa.immigration.go.tz (USD 50 single entry)
- Passport: Valid for 6+ months with 2 blank pages
- Yellow fever: Certificate required if from endemic country
- Return flight: Proof of departure from Tanzania
- Accommodation: Safari lodge/camp booking confirmation
Select "Tourism" as your purpose of visit when applying for your e-Visa.
National Park Fees
Park fees are separate from visa fees and are usually included in your safari package price:
