Application Process
Collect all required documents, photos, and ensure your FRRO registration is current.
Fill out the passport application form in block letters.
Attend in person at EP 15C Chanakyapuri for document submission and biometric capture.
Pay by demand draft favouring "Tanzania High Commission" or cash.
Application forwarded to Immigration Department in Dar es Salaam. Takes 4-8 weeks.
Collect in person from the High Commission or receive by registered post (Speed Post).
Photo Requirements
- Size: 35mm x 45mm
- White background
- Full face, front view
- Recent (within 6 months)
- No glasses
- No head coverings (religious exemptions apply)
- No digital filters
- No uniforms
Child Passport Applications
Parents or guardians can apply for passports for children under 16. Both parents must consent.
Additional Documents:
- Child's birth certificate
- Both parents' valid passports (copies)
- Consent letter from absent parent
- Court custody order if applicable
- Child's Indian visa or registration
- Two passport photos of the child
