German citizens require a visa to visit Tanzania. The Tanzania e-Visa is the easiest option: $50 single entry, $100 multiple entry, processing 3-10 business days. Visa on arrival was abolished on January 30, 2025. All visitors must now apply for an e-Visa at Tanzanian airports.
